Shajia Ayobi and Ghulam Rabani Ayobi

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped,Shajia Ayobi was charged with plotting to kill her husband, Ghulam Rabani Ayobi. After she killed him she alleged they had been car jacked and then insisted he was killed by secret agents. Police found many motives, including a $285,000 life insurance policy. She was found guilty by a jury, of first-degree murder. She was sentenced to twenty-eight years to life, which at her age, is likely a life sentence. Sonia Mitchell and Brian Swartz

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped,Sonia Mitchell was convicted of killing her boyfriend, Brian Swartz in the summer of 2009. She alleged he was abusive which is why she killed him. Others did not believe her claims and the judge was hesitant to believe her story because of the things she did after the murder, which included burying him in a shallow grave with the help of others, lying about Mexican cartel members killing him, etc. She was sentenced to twenty years in prison. Kimberly Ross and William “Bill” Ross

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Kimberly Ross plead guilty to the first degree murder of her husband, William “Bill” Ross. He had been shot three times. Initially she claimed intruders had broken into the home and killed him while he slept. This crime was also committed by Justin Paul Young, a friend of her son and Ashley Mai Cook, a young woman who viewed Kimberly as a mother figure. She killed Bill so she was free to marry Terry Aber, whom she had had an affair with for many years. She has appealed her plea deal and lost, as is nearly always the case. She was sentenced to life without parole for her role. Shelly Arndt and Darcy Veeder Jr.

Darcy Veeder Jr As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped,Shelly Arndt was convicted of the first degree murder of Darcy Veeder Jr. who died in a house fire she set. She also endangered her own family members in that process. She appealed her conviction and lost. She was sentenced to life in prison without early release. Verginia Turner and Mark Hafen

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Verginia Turner wasfound guilty of first-degree murder with premeditation. He was beaten to death with a metal bar after Verginia discovered he had a new girlfriend even though the two had broken up.  Her victim was her ex boyfriend, Mark Hafen. As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Melissa Napier entered an Alfred plea to charges of first-degree murder and defiling a body in the shooting death of Billy Ray Napier , her husband. She conspired with her then fourteen year old daughter, Savannah Napier to shoot him and hide the body. She was sentenced to a total of 45 years. The consequences for Savannah Napier are unclear. Joyce Sturdivant and Joe Sturdivant

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Joyce Sturdivant was convicted of the murder of her race car driver husband, Joe. She had previously attempted twice to hire someone to kill him, but when that failed, she killed him herself. Her victim was Joe Sturdivant . As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Margaret Litchfield was convicted of killing her husband, Red Litchfield . It took many years for her to be arrested and go to trial. She was convicted and sentenced to sixty years in prison. She did appeal, but the conviction stood as is. Wanda Stanley and John Stanley, Sr.

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Wanda Stanley plead guilty to the murder (a lesser charge then the original) of her husband, John Stanley, Sr.  Her plea was bargained for a total of fifteen years, with seven to ten being served in prison in 2012. She has since been released. According to the Henry Herald , Her attorney maintains that she shot and killed her 45-year-old husband in self-defense. John Stanley was found dead in his SUV, in College Park, on Dec. 26, 2008. His wife has admitted to the killing She accepted a plea deal while the jury was deliberating. Donna Thorngren and Curtis Thorngren

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Donna Thorngren was arrested for the murder of her husband, Curtis. Her son, Austin, was also arrested.  Her alleged motive was life insurance policies. It is entirely possible to be convicted based on circumstantial evidence when you are not actually guilty. As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped,  Amy Van Wagner was convicted of the murder of her husband, Stanley Van Wagner and hiding his corpse. She was sentenced to life in prison. There was considerable evidence against her offered at trial. The motive apparently was she needed access to her husband's account to repay a loan she had gotten behind his back. As far as motives go, this is a terrible reason to kill a person. As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Martha Farmer plead guilty to second-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping to avoid a possible life sentence. Her victim, Carla Lea Bussard was shot in a parking lot. Martha originally claimed she had driven her to meet a mystery man who killed her. Martha was involved with the victim's estranged husband.She was sentenced to twenty one to twenty eight years. According to WECT , A woman pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder and kidnapping charges. Martha Farmer admitted she shot 36-year-old Carla Bussard twice in the head in September 2006. As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Dee (Delores) Eggert, plead guilty to the murder of her mother. She was sentenced to thirty years in prison. Her step father, Bob Devor was also arrested and there are allegations the two were involved in a romantic relationship. Her mother's body was nearly destroyed using fire. Her victim was her mother, Pauline Devor. Eileen Leone and Darius Smith

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Eileen Leone was convicted of the beating death of her boyfriend, Darius Smith in their New Jersey home the two shared. She was found guilty of murder, after a seven-day trial and four hours of jury deliberation. She was sentenced and must serve thirty years in prison.  According to the Press of Atlantic City , About 9:30 p.m. that day, police responded to a 911 call made by Leone. Officers arrived to find Smith suffering from head injuries. He died hours later at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus in Atlantic City. The medical examiner determined Smith died from blunt-force trauma. Cindy Reese and Michael Reese

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped,Cindy Reese was convicted by a jury for the murder of her husband, Michael Reese in December 2016. Before and during the time of the murder she was having a physical relationship with her Pastor, Jeffery David Brown .She was sentenced to 40 years in prison.  You can view her interrogation below. She is currently housed at Birmingham Community work center which houses female inmates who are given job opportunities in the local community . This is alarming considering she killed her husband. Marissa Wright and Randall Craig Anderson and Joe Lee "Joey" Richards Jr.

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Marissa Wright plead guilty to murder in the first degree for two counts of murder in the deaths of Randall Craig Anderson and Joe Lee "Joey" Richards Jr.  During her sentencing phase, family members of the victims indicated they believed if she was given the opportunity, she would kill again. According to ArkTimes ,  Leveritt has obtained the affidavits for search warrants of the property and they indicate Marissa Wright had confessed to the slayings (one using an ax handle), that she used an automobile “creeper” to move one of the bodies through her house and that she had kept journals about the crimes. Documents seized included an apparent suicide note written by Wright before a failed attempt that identified the dead men and location of the bodies. Janet Tyburski and Rachele Tyburski

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Janet Tyburski pleaded guilty to two counts of murder, Rachele Tyburski two counts of felonious assault, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of abuse of a corpse. She was sentenced to 19 years in prison to life. She must serve all 19 years prior to being released. Her mother stated that Janet had suffered mental health issues through most of her adult life. Sanity was not an issue in her charges or plea deal. As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Roxanne Buck was found guilty of stabbing Michelle Johnson, her roommate to death. Roxanne was a crack addict and had not paid her rent. Johnson told her she had to move out at the end of the month, which is what anyone would do and/or understand. Her victim defense failed to excuse her actions and the judge sentenced her to life in prison. As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Diana Nadell plead guilty to the murder of her Mother In Law, Peggy Nadell in an attempt to inherit her money and possessions. In court, she admitted to attempting to hire another woman to kill her among other things.  She was sentenced to 23 years on first-degree murder charge.  Her sentencing was very eventful. Ashley Schutt and Greg Schutt

As seen on Season 23 of Oxyen's Snapped, Ashley drugged her husband, Greg Schutt and then proceded to kill him using a hammer and knife. She claimed three men entered the house, raped her and killed her husband. She was convicted and found guilty of malice murder, aggravated assault for slitting her husband’s throat, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and false statements. In all, she was sentenced to life for murder plus an additional 20 years for aggravated assault and another 15 years for the remaining charges. She appealed the verdict based on the evidence was insufficient to support her conviction for aggravated assault, that the aggravated assault should have been “merged” with her murder conviction for sentencing purposes because the same evidence was used to prove each crime, that her trial attorney was incompetent and ineffective, and that the trial court erred by failing to suppress her statements to police.
