Sharon Maxwell and Gordon Lynn Maxwell

As seen on Season 23 of Oxygen's Snapped, Sharon
Maxwell was found guilty of murdering husband Gordon Lynn Maxwell, a Baptist preacher. Having been married ten times prior and sleeping around with others, police felt a possible motive may have been a life insurance policy.

She was sentenced to life without.

Her appeal (see link) includes:
Gordon Lynn MaxwellFrom  the  time  Gordon  Lynn  Maxwell’s  charred  body  was  discovered  in  his  partially  burned  truck  in  his  backyard,  until  the  conviction1  of  Sharon  Anne  Maxwell  for  the  murder  of  Gordon,  her  tenth  husband,  Maxwell2  furnished  authorities  at  least  three  different  narratives  to  explain  Gordon’s  death.    We  affirm  the  trial  court’s  judgment  because  (1)  sufficient  evidence  supports  Maxwell’s  conviction,  (2)  admitting  evidence  of  Maxwell’s  recent  contacts  with  Stroman  and  Campbell  was  within  the  trial  court’s  discretion,  (3)  admitting  evidence  of  the biting  incident  was  harmless,  (4)  admitting  French’s  testimony  was  harmless,  (5)  denying  Maxwell a continuance was not harmful error, and (6) no error in admitting the hearsay portions of Mullins’ investigative report was preserved.
